Today Oakley had her first T-ball practice. We packed up her pink mitt, her pink bat, and her pink water bottle and were off to Iona Park.
Her team's name is the Purple People Eaters, which is due to their purple team shirts. The team also consists of all girls, which will obviously have it's pro's and con's.
I'm so excited to help and teach Oakley learn how to play; more excited than she is I'm sure. However, after watching the practice, I can see it will be more of challenge to teach an "almost" 4 year old, how to play than I thought it would be.
"Go Purple People Eaters!!!!!" Their first game is schedualed for June 2nd.

How fun! Ali was hitting a ball with a bat today. Maybe we could get them together to practice!!!
Take lots of pictures of Oakley playing!
