About how I'm feeling? The first time Oakley got glasses, which was about a year and half ago, It was really hard for me to see her in glasses so little. Of course she was absolutely adorable, but as a mother I worried if it would have a negative on effect on her socially and physically. It didn't take long for me to realize that these feelings were more just being protective and paranoid and that adjusting at an early age would be not only better for her eyes and sight, but to her advantage.
Today when I walked out of the doctor holding Kennedy's hand, I couldn't help but feel a little sad again. She just turned 2 in June and is a year younger than Oakley was when she got her glasses. Of course I know that she needs them and that the earlier we start correcting the problem the better, but a small nurturing part of me wishes that they didn't have to go through any of it. Fortunately, I know it will only be a short time and I'll be as adjusted as they are.

Cute they are now twins, you know one good thing is that they can go through it together. They both have glasses now so they can be cute little twiners.
They are both so cute in their glasses! You are a wonderful mommy Cortnie, you always know what is best for your little cutie!
How cute are they....both just like their mom!! Love you guys!
They are both so cute. And at that age the kids don't know to be teasing yet I hope.
They look great! It would be hard to keep glasses on at such a young age. I think Ali has gone through like 4 sets of sunglasses. She always lost them because she was always taking them off. Hopefully she will realize that they help her.
I had glasses before I got contacts. I remember the first car drive with my new glasses. I had no idea people could see each leaf on the trees. I thought everyone just saw a big green mass like me!
She looks so cute with them. I think they even make her look older. I forget how little she still is. I don't have glasses, so I don't even know what it's like, but it will definitely be good to get used to while they're young.
