Msc.

It's been close to a month since my last post.  Hope you enjoy the catching up.

Spencer is finally sleeping in his crib! I'm sure everyone has different idea's about baby's and sleeping patterns, but for me, I've liked keeping them in a bassinet in my room until they're about three months old and then transferring them to their room in their crib.  It has been a little harder for me to make the switch this time since I've been keeping such close eye on the little guy.  However, as you can see, he's getting bigger by the minute and the bassinet wasn't going to be an option for much longer anyway.  This picture was actually taken a few weeks ago for his nap and it was the first time he would actually stay asleep when I put him in it.
Spencer now weighs: 16 lb.'s 10 oz.  He's been such an amazing baby.  He's been sleeping through the night (at least 5-6 hours) for around two months now and this last month has been sleeping for 7-9 hours at night.  I know, like I said amazing!! We've been truly blessed to have him in our family and are so grateful for his fun and smiley personality.

A few Saturday's ago when we got dumped on, Wray and I and the girls went outside to play in the snow and build a snowman.  As you can see in the pictures, we ended up building a whole family of them.  It's been such a long time since I've built a snowman . It was just as fun as I remember it being when I was a little girl.
Oakley also had a Great time.  By the time the snowmen were finished it was just she and I left outside. She asked me if she could have her picture taken next to the "Oakley" snowman (being that we made our family of snowmen).  I was surprised at how close we got their height without even trying. What a fun day!!

Last week the girls and I decided it was time to make Valentine cookies.  They don't normally help me bake or cook and so it was a little crazy, but an overall fun experience.  I'm looking forward to many fun times in the kitchen with them in the future.
The finished product. Don't worry, the cookies didn't fall on the floor. Close call though.

Love it!

You must think I am the lousiest friend. It's been pretty crazy, and we are finally all feeling so much better.

This week has been esp. nuts as we had a ward member (my good friend's husband) pass away.

Sorry I haven't been there for you.

I love your family of snowmen. What a fun idea!

Those snowmen are too cute!
I am SO jealous of your sleeping baby...but happy for you that you are getting some sleep. Oh, and I love his crib set.

I love your snowmen! I haven't made one in a long time. I should get out and do that sometime. If Spencer keeps growing like he is, he'll pass Jonas up in weight. I'm not kidding. He only weighs 22 pounds and that's with clothes on! I love your girls too. They are just so sweet and I love those cookies you guys made. What is the red stuff in the dough? And if you don't mind, maybe you could share the recipe!?!
