Kennedy's Birthday Campout

On June 18th Kennedy turned 4. Her birthday just happened to fall on the same day as our ward camp out.
I'm sure you can tell from the pictures that our whole family had a BLAST!! There were several races and games for the kids and they even had a Candy Cannon for the kids that shot out candy. I haven't ever seen anything like it before, but I have to say it was way cooler than a pinyata.
When Kennedy told me she wanted a twinkie cake I googled it and found this awesome idea. It worked great for all of the kids and was very easy to clean up.
The following morning the Ellsworths headed up making and launching our own rockets. Wray and the girls had a great time with this, however, our rocket didn't do so great the first time. Fortunately with a little remodeling Wray was able to get it to shoot beautifully the second time.
Happy Birthday Kennedy!!! We all LOVE You Very Much!!!!

Zoo

Our family loves going to the zoo each summer to see all of the animals. I love how excited my kids get each time they see an animal.

Oakley's favorite has always been and will always be the LION! Most of the animals were napping when we went so you only get pictures of statues and wood. :) ha ha.

GO GATORS!!!

This year Oakley and Kennedy were able to be on the
same T-Ball team. It is so fun to watch them play
together. Having Oakley on the team has really
helped Kennedy's confidence.

Our Little Graduate

I guess it's about time I got all caught up again.

Oakley is now an official Kindergarden Graduate. I can't believe how fast the year went by. Oakley loved her teacher Mrs. McCammon and loved her first year of school. She is very excited for first grade and asks when she gets to go back often. We love you Oakley and are so Proud of you!!!

First

We've had a few firsts the last couple of weeks at our house. Sometimes the first time for things is fun and sometimes it isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Spencer had his first hair cut. HOORAY! It's about time it grew enough to need to cut it. I didn't do a before and after because I was getting the other kids ready for church when Wray took the clippers to it. He did a great job and for some reason, as each time they get their first hair cut, he looks a little bit older today.
.
Oakley had a first as well this week. As shown in the photo, she lost her first tooth. However, it wasn't without a few tears. She has been excited to loose it since most of the other kids in her class have already lost teeth, but once it was loose, it didn't seem to want to come out. Wray tried tying it to the door knob several nights in a row only for the floss to slip off time and time again. However, finally two nights ago they decided to try one more time and door knob remains successful.

Random Update

Little Boys
Spencer, like most boys, loves water, mud, and anything else that will make a mess. A few weeks ago when we had a lot of rain our swell was full of water and once Spencer spotted it there was no keeping him away.

He's so Proud!!!

Other Random Pictures
My girls love dress up!!! What little girl doesn't right? About a week ago when they were all dressed up in their princess costumes they insisted that Spencer be their prince. He was so excited to sit in between them holding his sword.

This is one of my favorites too. I love my little Sweeties!

Before church on Sunday I decided I would try and take a few pictures of the kids since they were actually all done up. They didn't necessarily want to cooperate, but they are the most recent of my kids together.

You know how Sunday mornings are. They were either sleepy in the pictures or acted like they were in pain. Oh well, all of them are at least clean.

I'M BACK!!!

Now that it's been almost half a year, I think I should probably post something!!! Sorry for all of you out there that now associate me with the phrase "5 year old Jungle Princess". I will do better!!!!!

Now, to catch up, where to start????

Well we had a very fun trip to Bear Lake in the Summer with our friends Ryan & Brenda for a few days. I didn't post any pictures because I couldn't pick just one and too many would make this way toooo long.

Wray started his own business PLATINUM SATELLITE!!!! He is still selling satellite for Dish Network and also has Internet for anyone interested!! This has been quite a big change of pace and lifestyle for us, as he is working from home now. It's been such a GREAT thing for our family and I can truly say that I love Wray being home as much as he is!! The kids couldn't agree more and love Daddy flexible schedule!! More to come from Platinum Satellite....

Oakley started school in September!!! Hooray Oakley!!! I was way more sad than she was, as expected for my oldest. She loves school, especially P.E., Music, and Recess. That's my Girl!

Wray had his 26th Birthday!! Happy Birthday Baby!! I put this picture on here just to embarrass him. Hope it works. Lol. ha ha

Spencer had his FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Wow how time flies by. I'll do a year update later for him. Maybe it will be a year and a half since he's already 15 months old. Hear the sarcasm??? Yes, I'm feeling very guilty for it being this long.

We had Halloween just like everyone else did. I even managed to snap a shot of my little animals. Cute aren't they??? This year my girls actually understood the concept of FREE candy and enjoyed it a little.

Wray's sister, Stephanie got married!!! congrats to her and her husband Kade!!! What a pair. We couldn't be happier for the two of them.

Spencer REALLY ENJOYED the dough-nuts

Oakley performed in the school play. The Kindergarten kids recited a poem and sang two songs I'd never heard before. It was the cutest thing I think I've ever seen.

....And of course, last, but not least for this post, CHRISTMAS!! We all had a GREAT Christmas and enjoyed spending lots of time together. Luckily all three of our kids LOVE being outside and we spent the few weeks around Christmas time that we actually had snow out on the sleds behind the four-wheeler and playing in the snow.
