Adrian McCracken brought Wray over the Glee Christmas music CD (sort of an inside thing between the two of them) and Oakley and Kennedy especially loved dancing to the music.
Spencer LOVED putting on the ornaments and just couldn't seem to get another one fast enough.
It was so Sweet to see his little hands at work attaching each one.

Our kids reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas this year.
A few years back when Oakley was probably around two, I bought this little nativity set from Avon. We have absolutely loved it!! It's plastic and the perfect size for any kid. Each year since then, my girls have spent many hours playing with it and rearranging the figurines.
I knew they would be excited when I pulled it out this year and so I told them if they would go clean up their rooms I would have a surprise for them (yes, I am very fond of bribery). I got it all set up and watched as they came in to admire it. What I didn't expect (I'm not sure why I didn't know it would happen), was that all three of them, yes, even Spencer reached for the little baby Jesus and a fight broke out. After a few minutes of trying to get them to share and take turns I retired to the kitchen where I was sewing a blanket for one of our friends and decided to just let them figure it out on their own. I heard them in playing and was glad that they had figured it out and that I wasn't going to have to put it away. A little while later, while still sewing, Oakley and Kennedy kept coming in and asking if they could have the scraps from the blanket, something they do on a regular basis when I sew. I gave them to them and didn't think anything of it until Wray called me in to see what was keeping all of them so quiet and entertained.........
The girls had wrapped baby Jesus in all of the little scraps and swaddled Him ever so snug and warm. Each of my three children knelt quietly in our sitting room, still and silent as they observed the scene in reverence.
My heart was full as I was reminded of the true meaning of Christmas.
I wondered what happened to all of my photos of Christmas, and realized we mostly just took video, however, I was glad that I got one shot with all three of my kids in it. Christmas morning around 7:00 a.m., still a little dark outside.

We also had a few fun additions in December on the Kunz side.
Wray's sister Stephanie and our brother-in-law Kade had a handsome little baby boy, Drake, on Dec. 6th. He is the fourth grandbaby and my kids first cousin on the Kunz side. We are all pretty excited to have him here.
Another fun surprise was Wray's brother, Ean, getting engaged on Christmas Eve to his girlfriend Makel. We all LOVE her, especially my girls, and we're all pretty excited for them as well!!!!

That is an awesome story, I'm so glad you shared it. I'm amazed how tight they got the little pieces of material around baby Jesus. And Stephanie's baby is so cute.
I love that story about the nativity and your kids. So sweet, and awesome that you thought to write it down so that you will remember it! :)
YOur children are amazing. That picture of baby Jesus was adorable. Glad you had a good christmas. Weston got a train table too. He loves it as I am sure Spencer loves his.
